George Cenkovich of Washington and Jack Giacomel of Cross Creek met in 1970 while playing in a band called “The Outfit”. Although The Outfit went separate ways, George and Jack remained, forming the harmonic and sensual sounds of Light Touch. In combination with George as the lead vocals and guitarist, Jack as the lead keyboardist and vocal backings, as well as the modern use of equipment, Light Touch easily gives the feel of a five man band and have been compared to the musical stylings of the Four Coins, Skyliners, Vogues, and Duprees. Even after four decades, the duo still diligently practices every week—adding more songs to their musical quiver and keeping their sounds melodic, fresh, and entertaining just as they were in their meek and early beginnings. On August 7th & 8th 2009 Light Touch took a pivotal leap in their career when they opened for and also played as the backing musicians for the original Four Coins. This concert took place at the Meadows Casino in Washington, PA. Since that date the Light Touch toured with the Four Coins up thru 2012.
